IIRC, with FS9, once you go below 6500' of runway length, only AI planes below a certain empty_weight (as set in aircraft.cfg) will use the particular runway for takeoff.

Thanks for the quick reply, it's all done and dusted. I'm using the old FSNavDBC to manage my scenery.cfg, so the old scenery is gone and the new scenery in without having to start and re-start FS :D
