Re: Lost ORBX Global autogen lights after install *Solved*

Solved via email with Martin.

Turned out to be two random characters placed at the very beginning of my newer autogen.xml that caused the issue.

Thanks to Martin for spotting the error.

Re: Lost ORBX Global autogen lights after install

Can you open the new XML file in notepad at all? The only change should be that the following code is added after each <CODE>*</CODE> <CLASS> <NAME>FTLibs_Streetlights_MOTORWAY</NAME> <GUID>0c601ce0469ab4c078c5b59d9e8af070</GUID> <WIDTH>5</WIDTH> <DEPTH>5</DEPTH> <LIBRARYOBJECT> <NAME>FTLibs_Street...

Re: Lost ORBX Global autogen lights after install

Martin, As a test I disabled the new xml file after the libraries were added and got all my lights. In addition to the lights missing after installing YSSY, apparently when testing in daytime, some tress are also missing. Below are 4 shots with my old xml file before installing YSSY and you can see ...

Lost ORBX Global autogen lights after install *Solved*

George, I just purchased YSSY last night, installed and runs great, however I seem to have lost all my FTX Global autogen lights after the install. I noticed that when it was installing the newest libraries that it was editing the autogen xml file and created a back up of the old one. I tried loadin...

Re: Next Airport, Istanbul - Atatürk?

Istanbul is beeing developed by Taxi2Gate. They try to do also a FS9 version. Do you have a source for that? Would be good to know as LTBA is a huge airport and also many flights with other European airlines going to that airport. And I think the Turkish online community would be more then happy to...

Re: FSX Aircraft Radome Antenna

No, you can't do that unless you have access to the original model and can remodel the dome to the aircraft and then add the needed textures. Basically you're pretty much stuck unless you can get the original author of the model to change it for you.

Re: Performance problems

Thanks Martin. These seems to have solved my performance problems at TNCM. I am guessing that once in the air, the close proximity of TFFJ and SABA were causing the bad FPS and extra system load that was causing the blue ground tile squares. Since installing the patched files, I took at few trips ar...

Re: Copenhagen airport in progress?

Hey, might be a stupid question im comming with here, so please bare with me if it is. On your map on your front page, theres a flashing dot over Copenhagen airport, does this mean that its in progress? If so i'd look very much forward to it! Regards, Andq1 You didn't see the stickied Copenhagen po...

Re: Performance problems

Calm down. I'm investigating the issue. Thanks Martin. It will be interesting to hear your findings if you can figure out what is causing the hit. For me that FPS drops are quite as drastic as what some are quoting, but there is a definite drag on performance coming from somewhere, more in the line...

Re: Performance problems

This one has me stumped as well. I tried turning off the static boats and that helped a little, but in v1 I was running the static boats and had no problems with performance here and that was on an older rig. If TNCM is basically the same as v1, minus the old terminal being gone and some animated pe...

Re: Performance problems

I'm getting worse performance with v1.5 as well. Turned off the AI ships and volumetric grass as well. For some reason when I leave the airport from runway 10 making the quick right turn, then pan my view back I get some momentary purple squares on the ground. The go away in a second or two, but I t...

Re: Orlando, FL Development?

I doubt it since Taxi2Gate is doing one as well as the Cloud9 version being out for sometime.
