Heraklion / Thessaloniki for P3D

Post by StarBlue1967 » Fri Apr 17, 2020 4:24 pm

Hi,

I know you all are very busy with P3Dv5 updates. Just wondering there are two FT sceneries that are XP exclusive, I believe they didn't come to P3D was because of the sloped runways. So with P3Dv5 having sloped runways, will these two airports be ported to P3D?

Thanks,
Jhan

Hello,

I would like to know this as well. The AS/FSDG versions for P3D are no longer offered for sale and it appears will not be updated to P3Dv5. I have tried FSDG Thessaloniki in v5. It looks ok but seems to have quite a few stutters for me. Have not tried Heraklion yet . . .

FSDG says they " are no longer part of our product family, sorry."

Thank you.

That's strange. I was the original developer back then and to find out from this forum that they are no longer online is funny..for the lack of a more appropriate word :)
I will probably update both to P3Dv5 as a small side-project and re-list them.

I was also confused by this. Having just upgraded to P3D V5 I was looking for updates to my favourite sceneries and came across this on the FSDG forums, I'd link to it but the forum software wont let me as a new user!

Interesting to know who was behind the original development, I really love both of these and hope to see them in version 5.

Thanks!

Please do, Emilios.
I think LGIR is a great scenery.

Also see this:

For some reason the P3D version of these sceneries is no longer being offered for sale anywhere.

Personally I already got them, but there are people who don't have it yet and would like to buy it. In that case, all it would take for FlyTampa is to build an installer for the existing scenery. Not talking about P3D v5 here, just P3D v4.

Unfortunately the current owner of fsdg decided to remove it without my consent. It was probably too good for their catalog.

Time-depending we might be able to upgrade and re-release both LGIR/LGTS.

Just found from Simmarket FSDG Thessaloniki X LGTS FSX P3D. So, still FSDG and not FlyTampa.

Hi,
I installed Thessaloniki in v5 and it - luckily - works perfectly , since this is one of the best Greek sceneries so far.
