Road grids in water-FS9

Not too long ago I rebuilt my sim machine and just recently I noticed this problem. See attachment.
It looks to me like the roads close to the shoreline are in the water. The screenshot is over Lake Washington, but it's the same in the sound as well. I went to the coast and it looks ok.
I have Ultimate Terrain USA, FSG mesh, and I think that's it for this region.
I changed my TMVL back to 19 just in case, that didn't make any difference and I also changed some settings in UTUSA, no go. The only thing I can think of right now is my FS9 scenery hierachy which should be ok reading some threads from here on UTUSA position. Before the pc upgrade all worked well.

I had this problem too, but can't remember the fix.

I do know I got it in the KSEA part of the forum by searching around.

Yeah, that's the problem sometimes when searching, the key words. I know a lot of people have problems with shorelines and the like, but I don't think that's my problem, although it may be related to a fix suggested here at FT. I thought I had done the correct patches, and I really don't think it's a FT thing. There are a few techies in here, that I thought would jump in with a suggestion. Otherwise I will have to spend the time and do the process of elimination program.

Looks to me that you have UTUSA, and you may have to deactivate the street roads, and just keep the main roads active. Also, deactivate bridge and tunnel roads. Active land - adjust city/town landclass and add detailed land areas. I had the same problem, and I also found out that another payware scenery was part of the problem. It was my FlightZone Portland scenery.

Thanks Specialist. You headed me in the right direction.
It is FlightZone Portland. Weird thing is I had all of these sceneries installed previously with no problem.
I moved the two Portland items down the scenery library below UTUSA, and the problem was still there. So other than UNchecking the two files when not in Portland, I don't know what to do, yet!.
I think I will go to the UT forums and see what they got.

I don't know about the Portland problem, but it wasn't that for me.
I have both Flightscenery packs installed and nothing like this is showing anymore.

When I got the new computer, this was happening all over the Seattle area.
I have Megascenery Pacific Northwest, UT USA, UT Canada and some of the FS Genisis stuff all installed and running with no trouble now.
I know I found the fix in the KSEA forum, but can't remember what it was.

It might have been this viewtopic.php?t=2936&highlight=terrain
The only problem is that the Flightscenery site is now dead, so what ever file Mike refers to is gone with it.
If Mike can name the file, I might have it on my HD smewhere.

The file's "FZ02-UTUSA.zip" or something to that extent. I have it, but it's too big for me to attach here.

The readme doesn't say much. As I understand it, FZ02 changes several default sim files, among others, coastlines. Due to the sim, they can hardly be changed locally, so often you end up changing files that cover a larger area. This is what happened with FZ02. It has its own coastline files that influence coastlines all the way up to KSEA for example. So you're seeing those and UT's coastlines. This update provides compatibility between the two.

I have it now Mike. Thanks very much.
I installed the update, and it's working, although the highways around Portland are missing. If I want to see them, I can change things.
I'm still scratching my head as to why these programs worked ok before without the patch. But, I may have forgotten something like this.
Anyway, I've got the file, you made my day, and in the future if anyone needs this file, I will get it to them.

Glad I could help. Perhaps last time layer priority fixed it, I dunno. UT is always tricky stuff.
