New features..
It's not KLAX
I wish it was! As the US West coast is pretty much neglegted in FSX it would be smarter doing airports like KLAX or KSFO....
However, I have no clue what this "It's not KLAX" feature means for this scenery or your design technique at all but hopefully it is worthwihle for those who like this destination.
I'm sticking the medium/large airports. These mega super hubs aren't very interesting & would take me 2 years development, unless in a multi member team.
I'm trying to release an airport every 6 months. So KLAX is't smart for me, unless I wanna go broke or do a boxy simple version which I wouldn't enjoy.

Yes i know, and it's going to be a payware without night textures and quality is poor. Waste of money. I make totally freeware, here is screenshot from my Miami scenery and i know my city sceneries quality is allways better

Agreed. The Aerosoft line looks like they just take the 3D buildings for the Bing Maps 3D. I'd love to see what you can do Toni.

Great preview shots George! Can't wait to see the finished product! Since you prefer to do medium size airports what about KLGA? Imaginesim's version is...well not near FT and EATS frame rates. Also, considering the company's name, FlyTampa, maybe a new Tampa would be good? On a side note though, the KBUF scenery is absolutely incredible!

That, in a way is good news. Maybe then we could see the likes of KONT, KTUS, or maybe even KABQ. I would give my eye teeth to see any one of those three airports done in FlyTampa style.

That older version was cancelled. I was disheartened by FSX's many problems upon release.
This version is only 5 months old. I didn't re-use much from the fs9 version.
Oh I assumed as much

Wouldn't have made much sense to have kept a 5 or 6 year old version in mothballs and pick up on it now, especially seeing how much your technique has improved over the years
Like I said in the alpha-india forums, I'm over the moon about this release (assuming you do get the FS9 version out...). I sorely miss regional and mid-sized airports of such high design quality. They are preciously few and far between, especially now that Cal's sadly moved onto mega airports as well.

How come Vienna has such good fps and now this also?

Read my post properly. I never said it wasn't good, its okay, but not very FPS friendly. Aerosoft Manhattan + Imaginesim KLGA in
FSX , is a nightmare (well, at least for me it is).

WOW, I really like this airport since its challenging to land during a hard winter! And, you guys always do good work! I am looking forward to purchasing this one.
As someone else stated earlier the west coast is soooo under-represented in good payware scenery. If KLAX is to big and hubby why not redo KSAN or better yet do a KSNA. KSNA is a good mid size county airport with a challening short runway and a noise abatement take off for those pesky Newport Beach residences. We really Need a good west coast scenery.
Thanks for KBUF. Looks Incredible.
