KHOU is done and freeware, CLE is imaginesim.
There was a nice KHOU made for FS9, however it is very outdated, and does not work with FSX. Unless there is another one that I have not seen. I know that there is one on AVSIM, but it is just the default buildings with updated hanger placement.

I say KABQ, it's not very big, has a ver interesting approach, making a 120 degree turn to line up with the runway with mountains on one side, and a valley on the other, and it's my home town. It's always interesting flying into KABQ. No one has done any good scenery for KABQ and I would love to see a big company like Fly Tampa make scenery for it, I would feel honored.

Another small airport to consider is Los Cabos Airport . The Gateway to Cabo San Lucas. It is a nice single runway airport. The hardest part of this would be getting the Corona beer building next to the field perfect.

I would say that KPHX (Phoenix) is a must for FS. It doesn't look like that FSDT is going to make it, and no payware add-on is out there. it is one of the greatest airports in the US. my prayers are for KPHX

I personally would love to see Dakar - Yoff (DKR / GOOY) or Campinas - Viracopos (CPQ / VCP / SBKP).

Alright then...this is my first time ever asking for something -

I've always wanted a KIAD of your quality - or even KDCA, complete with Gravelly Point and the bridges for the River Visual 19.

I'm still un-decided on my next one. I have a favourite/s.
I'm not doing any ultra mega airports yet. I'm looking for smaller ones.

Athens, Greece was top for a while. But the reference wasn't quite good enough. I might still do LGAV after another smaller one.

& good news for Canadians, I'm liking something up there. This can change later of course.
Hi George,

If you like Greece, I suggest Kerkyra (LGKR). It has been done by GAP (Greek Airports Project) but I'm sure you could do a much better job
There's a big miss in the center of Atlantic, as far as I know there's no good or recent sceneries for the Azores, specialy Lajes (LPLA) where an Air Transat A330 landed after an inflight both engines extinction. A photoreal scenery of L.F. Wade Intl - Bermuda (TXKF) could be another choice.
A few other suggestions :
- Oakland (KOAK) in front of San Francisco (KSFO)
- Van Nuys (KVNY) and/or Bob Hope (KBUR)
And why not an african scenery ? There's lot of interesting destinations and airports in Africa that have never been done...

Later, if you would like to do an ultra mega airport, I suggest the whole Seattle area (Boeing home) with an updated Tacoma (KSEA), Boeing Field (KBFI), Renton (KRNT) and Paine Field (KPAE)... I know it's a huge amount of work but Martin and you could do a miracle... If one day my dream comes true :D

Best regards,
Emmanuel

I go for Paro VXPR, because of it's very unique approach, like a mix of Madeira (for the approach) and Lukla (for the altitude).
This airport is not really big and has, as far as I know, never been created for FS.

My current shortlist:

CYQB Québec, Canada - Current favourite with beautiful Lush surroundings.
http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6875306

LGAV Athens, Greece - Love it. Just poor aerials. Even commercial aerials were terrible & cost 1300euros.
I'll return to it once the google recon team violate some greek privacy :)

KJAX Jacksonville, USA - Favourite for months. Still want to do it later.
http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=179666

others I've taken seriously recently..
KDCA
KBUR
KONT
KVNY
CYUL
& one in Japan I've forgot the name of.

I'm well aware these choices won't be incredibly popular. I know, only too well, most our 'forum' users lives depend on KLAX, KPHX, KMIA, KDEN etc, but I want to avoid these; because to develop a series of these large suckers with require large boxy interchangeable assets which will result in our airports all starting to look the same. & I don't enjoy it. I prefer to do some 'artwork', refine & add details. Even if there was time to refine a large airport, the resource overhead is too small. If it was up to me, I'd be joining Bill Womack any making Cessna parks with 1500ft runways. I just love them.

Buffalo was actually more work than Seattle & Boston put together. Smaller doesn't mean its a quick buck. There's WAY more detail in Buffalo than say Boston, or most other large airport sceneries out there. The surrounding 3D detail, photoscenery, autogen(tight-in around the airport) & seasonal textures added moths to the development time. Most our competitors don't bother.

Hi George, 1300euros! for crappy aeril work wow! that really blows! hopfully we get some updates in google earth soon for that area. I really think Athens will be a blast in fs.

First time i see CYQB Québec, Canada lol! looks really nice that would defeitly be a nice place to fly to and make some of are Canadian friends happy. KJAX Jacksonville, USA would really cool too, if I had to pick from the 2 it would be CYQB Québec, Canada.

I was surprised and shocked that you picked something in Japan! :P which is cool it and will surly look amazing with you skills and art style. was it a small one maybe it was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukuoka ? wondering which one you were thinking about? Bob Hope Airport would also be really cool to have. George I almost forgot while I have been lurking the forums for a very long time didn't you live in the u.s ? then you moved back to the uk? were you originally from the u.s or was it the uk?

Search for Paro.zip / ID 142923 on Avsim.com
It's not the FlyTampa quality but better than default...

Thanks for all that info! It is good to see FlyTampa designing sceneries as a way of art. FSDT and other ones that do the large airport...sure they put out a great product but your sceneries just has some sort of special touch to them.

Anyways, all those choices sound great really. Hopefully KBUR. :P But OMG, you said CYUL. :D

Great array of options George. They all seem good in their own way. :)
