Well, CYQB is a good choice.
I didn't list it 'cause like you said, it won't be popular. But if you add some buildings in vincinity (Quebec City)... it could be a interesting one for tourism.

- KDCA has been done by Cloud 9, FS9 only and not very fps friendly but with today's PC...
- KONT has been done for FS9 (freeware by Shehryar Ansari)
- CYUL has been done for FS9/FSX by Blueprint Simulations, not the same quality as yours :-(

I think a lot of folks need to stop with the "it's already been done for FS9"...The world is not revolving around FS9 (it's being phased out)and it's becoming a thing of the past. All FSX users do not care if it hase been done 7 years ago for FS9 or if there is some freeware out there. I don't like or use any freeware products (except for liveries). Thank you, my rant is over. Carry on.

No offense. :D

Totally agree with you about "already done for FS9" but from a commercial point of view, it could reduce the amount of sales...
Why don't you like or use freeware sceneries ? It's not 'cause it's free that it's bad. Don't forget that George started with a freeware Boston scenery...

Hopefully, FlyTampa is not like some other companies in FS World so a good CYUL or KDCA have my vote too :)

My two cents,
Emmanuel

I don't think it would reduce sales one bit, especially from a commercial point of view. Bottom line is most people will buy any scenery produced by FT, FSDT, ect, except one from some obscure location. KLAX for example?

IDK really about why I don't use freeware. I've used a couple in the past and they messed up a few things. I guess mainly it's the snob in me. :? I guess I would just rather buy something that is better...Sounds crappy though doesn't it?

KONT
I would love to see FT do a version of KONT for FSX. Makes for a nice short flight to KLAS, KSFO, KABQ, and KPHX.

Altough on that note I would love to see them do KABQ as well for FSX since no one has ever touched that airport.

I think it boils down to the level of realism involved. Between V3 and V2, there were some amazing differences. So if the difference is great, I think people will gladly buy but if the difference doesn't appear to be that big, I think you'll find FS9 users not buying it.

But you are right, FS9 is sort of the after thought now (although I hate to admit it because I myself am stuck using it...happily though as with my addons, it looks amazing). And that is why I REALLY want to see a KBUR (even though a Shez released a fine one MANY years back for FS9). :P

This airport is not really big and has, as far as I know, never been created for FS.
It has been done for FS9.
Search for Paro.zip / ID 142923 on Avsim.com
It's not the FlyTampa quality but better than default...

Thank you very much! Didn't know about it and it looks really sweet

Hi George, 1300euros! for crappy aeril work wow! that really blows! hopfully we get some updates in google earth soon for that area. I really think Athens will be a blast in fs.

First time i see CYQB Québec, Canada lol! looks really nice that would defeitly be a nice place to fly to and make some of are Canadian friends happy. KJAX Jacksonville, USA would really cool too, if I had to pick from the 2 it would be CYQB Québec, Canada.

I was surprised and shocked that you picked something in Japan! :P which is cool it and will surly look amazing with you skills and art style. was it a small one maybe it was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukuoka ? wondering which one you were thinking about? Bob Hope Airport would also be really cool to have. George I almost forgot while I have been lurking the forums for a very long time didn't you live in the u.s ? then you moved back to the uk? were you originally from the u.s or was it the uk?

I still think this airport would be a great choice. But then again, we all have our own choices. :D

Chubu would be fantastic, as we could get a taste (fsx) for the far east.

What between Kai Tak, and Inchon, the area would liven up.

Ah Chubu great choice hope there a chance for it the future. 6 years in the u.s not bad I could imagine how it was getting back to the uk and adjusting to the time and the way things are over after living in the u.s. :D but whatever you end up making it will be good you guys are the very few who are really talented with 3d modeling and textures. would have been cool if you added other team member like the guy doing work in flightbeam for ksfo his art and style fits with flytampa. but its just a thought.

others I've taken seriously recently..
KDCA
KBUR
KONT
KVNY
CYUL

Ok George and Martin,

now I understand!

All the options are very pretty!

It is really difficult to choose, I am in doubt between the Canadians, the Greek and the Japanese airports too…

Well, if really the focus is an artwork, makes the airport that will give more pleasure to you!

For the proven quality, any one of the short list will be another great gift for us!

I only desire that you does not stop to make this wonderful sceneries!

Success with your new project!
