Thumbs down. I will pretend that this never happened.

Looks Sharpe in the graphic's. Will have to wait to see the compatability with GoFlight and other addons.

No SDK? Really? That's my biggest concern.

Yep that's the one thing that really bothered me allot I guess will see what happens when its finally out and then see what they do with the rest of the game I honestly don't know what to think in one way happy to see something new but being such a closed game with no sdk worries me.

With no 3rd party developers, MS Flight will die a slow death. Hopefully that is something that will change quickly. If that happens then I'll stick with FSX and probably eventually migrate over to P3D since Xplane still isn't quite there yet (though the night lighting and effects are really cool looking).

Looks good for what it is, but the lack of a SDK and the way there are DLC packs isn't.

Dead issue to me and a major fail. Be prepared to get Prepar3d.

Now would certainly be a good time for Prepar3d to capitalise on all the disappointment.

George, did you guys look at P3D? Will you be porting over your stuff into it? I've heard that the upcoming version 2.0 looks tits and will leave everyone speechless. I've temporarily stopped using it but I will be going back to it full throttle come March.
Also, what are your true thoughts on Flight?

I don't know much about P3D but I like the idea of it. The P3D gallery is using shots from our Athens scenery so I presume porting is pretty easy if not effortless. I met with John Venema a few weeks ago when he was in the UK setting up stuff for their FTX UK scenery. John was extremely excited about P3D & I believe the upcoming versions will have some serious improvements.

Regarding Flight. I can't say much. I'm uncertain if the original NDA is lifted.

I agree with Midgey.

Flight (unfortunately) is a game, not a continuation of the MSFS series.
I'll only get Flight in order to try to transfer Hawaii and its aircraft to FSX... :D :D

One should rather check out XP10 instead IMO.

I'll be going the Prepar3d route especially since I'm hearing good things about the code being improved to take more advantage of the GPU. The current version already uses more GPU than FSX does, by quite a bit.
