ILS29 frequency, etc. (some minor topics)

Postby Phil » Wed Feb 15, 2006 8:18 am

Hi guys,

what a wonderful piece of scenery!! I can hardly believe it! :D Thank you so much!

Some minor things I have just found after a quick check:

- frequency for ILS29 should be 109.55. It used to be 109.70 but changed about a year ago.

- the blue stand markings on the ground on the western apron (B91-B96) are "flipped"

- as far as I know, LOWW has got a new taxilane on the eastern apron somewhere near exit 4, which seems not reflected in the scenery. I can get latest charts if needed.

But once again: I am delighted!! Many thanks!

Glad you enjoy it :)

Ok, will fix it in the Afcad file.

Can you make a screenshot of how they are flipped please? I think I have placed them the only logical way so they are readable for pilots coming "up" Tl20, 30.

I am aware of this new entrance, I think it was added not long ago. I was thinking of adding it last minute however it is as you said exactly by exit 4 where there used to be a big floodlight there which they must have removed ro shifted. The only reference I have of this new entrance so far is the chart (but no photos) so I decided to leave it for an update along with other things mentioned in the release thread.

give this Afcad a try and let me know. All I did was change the 29 ILS frequency but that should be enough to do the trick.

The updated AFCAD works and the frequency ILS29 is correct now.
I am attaching a screenshot of the "flipped" markings (aircraft heading north).
Thanks for your ongoing help!

argh, you found a bug that obviously happened last minute by changing the real B gates which are not located there at all. What you are looking at there are cargo spots that will be labeled W as soon as I have it fixed.

Fixed, unzip 2 BMP files into the Fly-Vienna/texture folder, the BGL file into the Fly-Vienna/scenery folder.

Note: This is fixed in the main installer as well now. I will wait a little longer to see if anything else comes up before I make any sort of official update containing everyhting that got fixed so far.
