[VATSIM] Vienna Crowded Skies - Save The Day!

Post by Alexander Arlow » Tue Feb 28, 2006 3:03 am

Dear Pilots,

as you know the new LOWW tower-building has been opened for service last autumn, so now it's time to give our controllers some real traffic and make the new equipment run "on edge". For thereto we call all pilots to visit our "house-warming-party"... :twisted:

Ladies and Gentlemen, be welcome to Vienna Crowded Skies!

So if you like to enjoy finest ATC-service and much other traffic save the following day:

Date: Saturday, March 4th, 2006
Time: 1300 UTC to 2200 UTC (1400 LOC to 2300 LOC)

What may you expect as a pilot?

-> Wien-Schwechat Intl'-Airport (LOWW) and Austrian CTR-Positions completely staffed
-> at least nine ATC-positions at your service simultaneously
-> additional staffing available to handle traffic according to situation
-> nine hours of non-stop service (1300 until 2200 UTC)
-> IFR, VFR, light, medium or heavy, in- or outbound LOWW - be part of it!

LOWW-Charts can be downloaded over HERE.

There is no registration needed for Vienna Crowded Skies, just wipe the dust off your most preferred aircraft and be our guest. :D

You will find all information in brief under http://events.firwien.at .

Already looking forward to seeing you in Vienna
