I have double checked that my FlyTampa (FSX) 2.1 is installed correctly (since release), but for some reason, I just realized my Radar Contact ATC add-on is still using the old Rwy designators that I thought 2.1 was supposed to address. I don't have this issue with any other add-on airports.
If you're not familiar with it, The Radar Contact ATC program uses Pete Dowson's (FSUIPC fame) MakeRwy.exe utility to scan all active AFCADs and provide necessary airport information, including Rwy designators, back to RC. The MakeRwy utility is executed manually after any airport AFCAD changes.
When I bring up the Radar Contact on approach, I still get the old 18L/18R designators for example, in both the RC menu and ATC audio. These were supposed to be 19L/19R after the 2.1 update, right? So, how come MakeRwy.exe is still parsing old Rwy data from the latest (2.1) AFCAD? Could a minute detail have been missed in the AFCAD update? It makes me wonder if perhaps only the Rwy textures themselves were updated (19L/19R), but not the ILS designators...
If you can confirm that nothing appears to be outdated in the AFCAD data, I will pose this question over on Pete's FSUIPC forum and see if he can figure out why MakeRwy isn't seeing the correct (2.1) AFCAD Rwy data.
Also worth noting, I have tripple checked my entire FSX installation and I don't appear to have any conflicting AFCAD installations. Besides, the 2.1 scenery itself looks just as it should - FlyTampa Sweet!
Thanks,
