Un-install & re-install & double check you selected the 3d bridges. The flat bridges are a performance feature for those that want it. If its still flat, try loading at a different time of day & not from a saved flight.

All that could prevent it working correctly are third party afcads, which can come from anywhere. Or maybe global terrain/mesh packages.

I did all what you are talking, but nothing works.
I installed FS Global 2010 and perhaps this is the problem?
What I have to discard Flytampa or FS Global?
I prefer to claim a patch.

Ah, yes there's a good chance FS global is to blame. Could you try disabling it temporally? Just so we can tell for sure.
I don't have FS Global & we never tested it. It may be possible to fix the problem by moving Athens to the top of the scenery database listing. Or at least just move Athens above FS Global's entries.

Nothing to do.

No change.

Did you disable FS Global or just the default Microsoft mesh?
Maybe try un installing FS Global. I vaguely recall it caused trouble for my old freeware Boston scenery.

Ultimate solution = fresh install of FSX.

I also have FS Global 2010 installed, and my Flytampa Athens bridge is normal, as it should be, ie NOT flat.

I tried to remove the "DisablePreload=1" in my FSX.cfg, now the bridge is 3D, but still no shadows on the bridge, anyway, the scenery is awesome
