Elevation issues at Boston have sofar been cause by Aerosoft's US Cities X Boston & My Traffic for AI Traffic.

They are very easy to fix.

To fix Aerosoft's US Cities X Boston
This file can be found in Your Prepar3D Folder\Scenery\World\Scenery

To Fix My Traffic
rename BR2_KBOS.bgl to
This can be found in MyTraffic\scenery

Without disabling these files you will experience elevation problems.

Thanks, I'm going to try this. I just installed Aerosoft Boston and it has ruined FT Boston and even default Boston and I can't restore the area even after uninstalling the products (FT and Aerosoft). I'm not using MT though, just UTLive.

I too had elevation issues with KBOS. Did a search for *bos*.bgl files in my World/Scenery folder and I found this: AFX_KBOS_flytampa_dummy.BGL Its last date modified on my system was 2009-11-21.

Renamed to AFX_KBOS_flytampa_dummy.BGL.OFF, reloaded and my elevation issues were gone.

Thanks for the suggestion. What are your realism settings? It appears that with detect crashes turned on that collisions occur anywhere within the scenery, even when on the runway void of buildings.

The fix with the AFX file worked! I do not have crashes detected. I turned it off a while ago as there are other sceneries in my library that would detect a crash with a building, when there was no building there (i.e. Denver, going under the crosswalk from the main concourse to terminal 1)
