Martin I'll do my best to try and see if I can get someone at MIA to provide me with gate assignments for the other airlines but that map I have uploaded is 100% accurate for AA gates.

Hey Alex

Yeah Avianca, Groupo Taca, British Airways, Air France and Virgin Atlantic use A as well, at least until we kick em out sometime in 2004 hehe =)

Currently we're the only airline using B. We really need the space since most of D is down for construction.

MIA is a mess now and gate space is at a premium. Most of the airlines that used B and E are now running out of F and a few out of A.

Swiss and British Airways and TAM also use A temporarily. Eventually A will be all AA by sometime 2004 or 2005.

I agree on MIA being a mess right now with the gates, Terminal H is the less used in my opinion

for the FS2004 AFCAD
Martin,
Can you do one with the gate assignments being shared between planes, and then do the full one when you get the info on it :)

If no more infos pop up anytime soon I'll release another simple Afcad with partly fictional and shared assignements as you suggested. Note that it isn't hard to do this yourself. If you're in a hurry, you just have to load Afcad2 and type in some airline codes in the respective parking postions properties dialog (Its a 5 to 10 min job). I'm not rushing it because even this next Afcad will be labeled "beta", since there still is no way to edit the Navaids (ILS) properly. Only with the next release of the Afcad program we will (hopefully) see a complete Afcad that will also be incorporated in the installer.

Martin I'm trying to get you correct gate info for the airlines.

As for American gates the ones on the picture I uploaded are 100% accurate. NO one uses gates in B, C and D except for American.

In concourse E Iberia shares gates E31, 21 and 23 with us, they're not exclusively Iberia.

British Airways uses A18. American normally in A uses A12, 14 and 16 but sometimes uses more.

I will try and get you accurate gate info for the other airlines. Here is what I have so far from checking info at MIA.

Cayman Airways uses F3 sometimes F5 as well.

Air Jamaica uses F7.

Delta uses H3-H19 (only odd numbers meaning the west side of H)

USAirways H4-H20a (even only, east side)

Continental uses G2, G4, G6, G8, G10 and G12.

America West uses G14

I will try and get more info for you soon

Hey Alex

They use F. Iberia used to use F but since we've strengthened our alliance with them they've moved into E with us.

The other 3 use the southern tip of F where all the heavy gates are.

Ok here's how Miami looks now with Afcad even though most airlines are not in there correct spot, i put a gate for KLM, but instead i see it in the parking area north of Concourse A. I as well assigned the Virgin Atlantic and Air France to Gate but there on the parking as you can see in the last screenshot anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hey alex

are you using project AI or ultimate traffic? if it's project AI where'd u get the TACA and ACES flights.

As for the planes moving. You have to make sure that all your gates have an assignment. If there is a gate left un assigned then it will be givin a flight by luck of the draw so sometimes you'll see a plane that's supposed to be somewhere pop up elsewhere unless u have all the gates assigned to a carrier.

From the pics u did a pretty decent job assigning gates. I don't think any of us can get it 100% with all the changes at MIA but we can get it pretty darn close.

Looks good!

Am using Ultimate Traffic used to have PAI installed before, I have KMIA assigned to gate, does it matter if gate is medium? The KLM in the Parking area is a MD-11

I been looking at http://www.miami-airport.com/webfids/html/default.html
And wrote down the gates that appear by plane i guess it might help for the AFCAD

American Airlines - B,C,D,E A12, A16, A10, A14, A7
Air Canada - G12,
Air France - F14,
American Eagle - D10,
British Airways - A18,
Air Tran - G2
American West - G4
Iberia - E20, E22, E24, E23, E31
TAM - E21
Lan CHile - A17
Grupo Taca - A3
Mexicana - F3
Northwest - G9
United - F15, F17, F10, F23, F19, F9
Bahama - H20, H18
US Airways - H10, H16, H14
Lan Ecuador - A17
Argentina - F16
Copa Airlines - F5
Falcon Air - F16

Remade the AFCAD file for MIA with the info, and fixed the problem with the Virgin Atlantic and AIr France not parking at thier correct gate by putting them to Heavy.

Hey Alex that little flight board is a great find cuz it provides very accurate gate info, awesome that you saw that. That all looks very accurate!

I think we can make a very good AFCAD with that info
