Try copying the files again, note there are both BGL for the scenery and BMP/DDS for the texture folders. If you forget either of them I guess the effect you're seeing could happen.

Copy again, let me know in case it doesn't work if you're on FS9 or FSX.

Just tried it again - same results.
I copied the file called _marten_grd_marks.bgl into the scenery folder and over wrote whatever was there,

then I copied the 2 files called
rwy_marks and
rwy_marks_lm
into the texture folder and over wrote what was there.

Still I have the same issue. I have tried to attach a picture. I do not know if I was successful. Lastly, I have a version of the file that I originally purchased several years ago. That version came with 2 versions - one for FS9 and one for FSX. Back then I was running FS9 on another computer. Since then, I have a new computer and am using FSX. So yesterday (I am certain) I installed the version for FSX. Everything else was perfect before I tried the 10/28 patch. In fact, it is the only issue I have with the scenery. Any ideas?

Thanks again!

I checked the files again and have no idea what could cause the missing the 8.

Perhaps try the following:

Temporarely delete these 2 texture files:
rwy_marks
rwy_marks_lm

Load tncm again and all the runway markings should appear plain black. Now check if there is also a black rectangle where the 8 should be. Perhaps post another shot of that. This will tell me whatever its a texture issue or if its in the BGL.

OK - we are geting much closer now - I did as you said, only I noticed there were TWO sets of files with those names - the first were .bmp files, the others were Windows Direct Draw files. So, I deleted all four and got no markings as you expected (see attached image). Then I put back ONLY the 2 that were the Windows Direct Draw files and got the 2 and the 8 to show up on the runway, only now I see a light gray "ghost" of a 27 appearing (see attached). Is this how it is supposed to look? There is no "ghost image" of a 9 at the beach side of the runwy.

Thanks for all the help. I know we are getting closer now.

Glad to see that.

Your first shot is how it is supposed to look like. The ghost 27 appear because that end got extended and the old markings painted over. runway 9 remained unchanged so the 10 is painted exactly where the 9 used to be.

Thanks Robby. Tried it in FSX and it works! Simply put the 2 .bmp files inside texture folder. Works also if you don't move the original .dds files.

I don't understand your question. The TNCN installer you receive from us upon purchase has runway 9/27. This update, which is optional, adds the 10/28 change.
