FSX crash to desktop after loading a flight

Postby epopchock » Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:11 am

Hello,
I seem to be having a problem with the new add-on scenery I installed. Tonight, I tried to do a flight from St. Maarten to St. Barts in a Twin Otter aircraft. The problem is that every time I try to load a flight (in this flight, I chose East Parking Ramp 4 as my preferred starting position), FSX automatically crashes to desktop :x I have tried everything from enabling DirectX10 to disabling/enabling existing addons that may or may not be compatible, and that did nothing to solve this problem. I am unsure of what to do next, and have no idea what the problem might be. Can anybody help me out here?

Try without AI-Ships please.

Either run the TNCM installer again and de-select AI-Ship or remove the file:

FSX/Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Maarten/scenery/Traffic_flytampa_aiship_22FJ.bgl

If this solves the issue, please let me know know what AI packages (if any) you have: WoAI, UT, MyTraffic, also need to know
if you are using custom GA AI of some sort.

Now i know that i'm not the only one who has those problems. :D 8)

I'm just wondering why this happens because i've asked in another forum i anybody else had those problems but noone had any problems with the scenery (with the same OS (Win 7 64bit)).
