Looks nice!!!

Been waiting for this for years.
But, be aware of the construction on the Highway 20-540 (known as the Dorval Circle)
They are rebuilding it. Also, I can give you any pictures you want as both my parents work at the airport

Cheers

Sorry but construction will have to be ignored. Without Hi Resolution aerial images its not easy to implement, especially since its just a highway & outside the airport perimeter.

I've been working on it too long already. Up until Jan 2012 I was mostly working on the ground which includes taxiway markings, taxisigns, taxilights, runway approach lights, tunnels & a big photo scenery. Now its just lots of 3d work.
I'll need to find someone to work on the Autogen soon too.

Hi George, this airport is really looking good! Are you also considering AESLite for this airport and, although you are not a big fan of FS2004, an FS2004 version?

It'll be for FS9 & FSX. I don't dislike FS9, I just dislike two versions.
AES lite is also planned at this time.

What are you FS9 guys going to do now? I know some of you were holding out for Flight.
Is sticking with FS9 an option?

To be honest FS9 runs beautifully on my current system and to be honest its quite outdated, but with PMDG doing the 777 & Aerosofts Airbus X release for FSX only and ORBX doing FSX only sceneries, water textures as real as they are in FSX, its growing more and more inviting, its the investing in a new PC that really puts me off....I would love to move over, but FS9 is sooo hard to fault in terms of performance, if you know FS9 well and look hard enough you can get some quite mouthwatering results for such an outdated sim. I had REX for FS9, and recently removed it and reinstalled Flight1s Flight Enviroment 2006 addon, the water and sky textures are just superb, as good as REX looks it also seems to have a few annoyingly unrealistic dawn & sunset sky colouring textures.....I will take that step up to FSX one day, it has to be done but as long as you (FT), UK2000, Aerosoft/Simwings keep thinking of us in the FS9 department i will keep using it until there is a major number of uncatered FS9 products that i want to use. :D

I like many others have poured a lot of time and money into fs9 and have it working without fault, the addon scenery, autogen and photo scenery that is installed means it looks nothing like misrosoft intended....so Why would I want to drop it all to move to a platform that even the best machines have trouble running...all the U-tube clips ive looked at stutter along and my fs9 looks way better, so I for one wont move until something comes along that raises the bar...FSX sadly does not

You already know my story George....I've tried FSX installed uninstalled...installed uninstalled....don't get me wrong I love the utilities, features of FSX (cars and boats etc) but I too prefer the performance....and with 450+ addons for FS9...its hard to move me. Perhaps in another 5 years:). I'm elated that us fs9ners will be able to experience another one of your marvelous creations. thank you...just say the date and the funds are there.

cheers..
