I purchased and installed St. Maarten after i installed UTX Tropics. I also updated to Version 1.2. I get raised water textures in the lake. If I disable UTX Tropics this goes away.

looks like the mesh is clashing with airport (which in our addon is set to 0m/sea level). Unfortunately I don't know what to do about it.

I'm having the same issue. The coast line is all goofed up too. I suspect it has to do with the UTX tropics. I'm trying to track it down but no success yet. Really frustrating.

Yep....definitely is UTX. Now what?

Ok. Found out that the default StMaarten scenery was pointing to the rio folder. How or why that happened I have no idea. I've never messed with the default scenery folders. Anyway I fixed that and now I have the exact same thing as mbell. Is there a reason a scenery package would delete the default rio scenery from the scenery.cfg? I put in back in. I don't have any 3rd party scenery in that area.

Note: I did a full uninstall and reinstall of St Maarten. No changes.

Hi everybody,
I have just installed St Maarten complete from FlyTampa today and I am having all these raised water issues just like what everybody else is having.
I had UTX Tropics installed prior to installing St Maarten.
I have downloaded the fix for this problem from this site but cannot apply it to my FSX as windows keeps asking what to open the file with and I don't know, can anyone give me an answer on how to install this fix.

Right click the File above and select "Save As". Then browse to your FSX folder and /Addon Scenery/FlyTampa-Maarten/scenery/

Thank you very much Martin,
I have installed the fix as you suggested and I now have normal water around St Maarten..I can now enjoy this scenery.
