Car Visibility

Is it possible to increase my viewing distance of things such as cars? When I go about 500 feet up the cars in the parking lot disappear and I think it looks kind of strange with the colored blots on the parking lot textures. Any way I can increase the viewing distance of the cars?

Unfortunately visibility ranges aren't something that can be modified user-wise, they're hard coded into the BGL files.
