Hope you do San Francisco first!

Why La Guardia? I thought you didn't like to make scenery that was already done? There is a very good freeware La Guardia avalible. Having said that, I will most likely get the LGA scenery when done.

Thank you very much Chris. Two of those projects are work in progress already.

Remember that list is not carved in stone. I'm more than willing to receive tips and suggestions for other great airports around the world.

That is what many others say, I don't remember saying that, at least not recently. In fact it is of secondary importance to me, the main things I look for are geographic location, architecture, eventually history and others.

Oh ok :) I will be buying the KLGA scenery when or if it gets made. :)

I will buy all the scenery on that list except Dubai, I hardly ever fly in and around the middle east.

I never fly around Dubai or that whole area myself, but that's one of the reason I'll be making this scenery, to have a new and interesting destination to fly to :D

I have to agree with Martin here. No reason now to fly anywhere in the middle east due to nothing to fly to but default stuff that gives new meaning to the word default.

Martin,

I thought that you had said that OAK was one of two different projects you were thinking of doing? Nobody has ever done this airport. I am pretty sure Simflyers will be doing SFO after there current 3 projects are released. OAK if flown to alot by guys on VATSIM and I am pretty sure you would get alot of sales with a first class OAK scenery. Anyway you can reconsider doing this airport?

I was considering OAK but I didn't like some of the things I saw on the most recent photos (changes, construction etc). This and many others I mentioned like MDW, ONT etc. are not discarded, I might still work on them later on.

As far as SFO goes, I hope you can understand that I don't choose my projects based on speculations of what others might do or might not do.

Remember that list is not in release order.

Oh, I completely understand. On another note, I think SEA is going to be real good...nobody has ever done that airport and it is the default starting spot now for FS!

Sea-Tac is a detailed airport by default in MSFS. I've no doubt Martin can make it 100% better, but why not concentrate efforts on airports not already released.
There's tons of other interesting airports out there. Here's three examples of interesting or challenging airports. Albuqurque (KABQ), the mountains right off the end of the runway make this an interesting departure, Little Rock/Adams Field (KLIT) the approach to 4L/4R, over the river, with Downtown Little Rock off to the right, an enormous amount of GA traffic, the Dassault Hangar all make this an interesting airport, and Aspen, CO (KASE) with the visual approaches, ski resorts and surrounding moutains, all combine to make it a beautiful destination.

Microsoft's socalled "detailed Airport" of TNCM is more than miserable. Can't wait for Martin's version. :)

Just about any type of scenery is better than the detailed default MS scenery. I already replaced MIA, ORD, JFK, NRT, and HKG with scenery.

(MIA, ORD, and JFK scenery are payware. HKG and NRT scenery is freeware)

Just wanted to say how much I love your scenery! You mentioned looking at smaller airports due to the techniques you are using to create them. My sugestions would be Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, KMSP, KOKC, KDAL (HUGE VATSIM Following with Southwest Virtual).

Or because they are smaller airports, maybe something like a Rokcy Mountain package with Colorado Springs, Aspen, and a few others. Being not a scenery designer myself, I do not know if the production time is related to the size of the airport. but if this is the case, maybe a package type deal of 2-3 smaller airports for the same price would make a great percieved value. Back in the days that Wilco Publlishing was creating the Airport scenery, I purchased it because it included several airports for a relitively low cost of $40 for multiple airports. Not comparing your work at all to theres, but monetarially, its the same issue. :)

I love the smaller regional airports like KMCI, KSTL, KMEM (okay its not that small) KIND, KDCA, KRDU, KCLT.

I guess my point is, if you do the smaller ones...maybe look at doing two at a time? Like KRDU and KCLT or KIAD, KDCA. Things that are pretty close in proximity.

Thanks

James
