Decompile the relevant traffic bgls, edit the relevant flightplans.txt file by replacing VHHH with VHHX, then recompile. Keep a backup of the original, so you can restore CLK traffic if you want. But, srsly, apart from Aeroflot, what other Russian airlines served Kai Tak? And Aeroflot is available from WOAI, I thought? I don't think you'll accomplish much by moving your SKAI traffic.

ok ima try to help you follow the numbers, i dont know if you know how to decompile your traffic with TTools, but if not ima include it in the explanation!!!

1) go to www.download.com and look for TexRep, you'll see TexRep 2, download it, and install it, dont open it yet!

2)go to Avsim or google, and look for TTools.EXE, when you find it, open it and you will see your skai traffic 2.3 in the traffic files,in the right row, click on it, and then click decompile, it will decompile, the airports, the aircraft and the flight plans to the folder where you have TTools, after your done, CLOSE everything!!!

3) look for the texrep icon in the desktop and open it, in the left top corner it says Select Files, look for the TTools folder, once you find it, it will display your aircraft, flightplans and airports you decompiled before..

4) now click on the flightplans, in the right row you will see text to find there you type ,VHHH, dont forget the " , " very important!!!! so in the REPLACE WITH you type ,VHHX, and then click START, it will replace all your VHHH to VHHX...

5) now instead of ,VHHH, just type ,VHHH and same with the replace ,VHHX and click START...

IN #5 that is because of the flightplans that have VHHH at the end of the flightplan if you type ,VHHH and put the comma at the end it will not find it and you will have aircraft at VHHH... so just do it the way i wrote it in #5 only ,VHHH and ,VHHX.

6) Close texrep and go to your ttools folder, click on ttools.exe and selec the aircraft, airports and flightplans, click COMPILE, after its done, just close it TTOOLS and open your FS9 go to VHHX and HAVE FUN ;)

ill put a picture of how you have to do it!

i hope you can do it!!! its fun to see the TRAFFIC landing at KAI TAK ;)

byez and good luck

Hi,

I will try it too. Thanks for the tuto Loquito4fly. Very appreciated!

What if I just want to move a few airlines but not all?

But after all I don't care of VHHH traffic so I think I will do the easy way

Thanks a lot!
I hope you managed it Mr Sim!
I will tell if it worked for me :)

when i compiled it said

ERROR: A flight plan specifies the airport VHHX
That airport is not in the Airports.txt file

Open the airport.txt with notepad and add the following line

VHHX,N22* 19.01',E114* 12.15',0

However, both FS9 and FSX already have VHHX included in their airport.txt file. Not sure why you have to add it unless your airport.txt is only a partial of the full txt file. Some FP developers by default only list the airports that their AI FP's go to.

add that underneath the VHHH one or at the bottom?

It does not matter but you can for consistency add it just after VHHH
