Re: Ortho4xp and Copenhagen X-plane 11

This seems like an imagemagick issue... did you ticked “ install legacies” during installation?

Re: XEurope compatibility

In the readme file it is well written that the ortho tile must be deactivated or removed. I think this is enough( so overlays and custom mesh input doesnt matter) Can you please provide screens, with xeurope below Photopolys4FlyTampa_+35+025 folder and above in order to see myself and other users to...

Re: XEurope compatibility

The ortho tile will be disabled after the conversion. So nothing will be used from it, except the textures to make photopolys with the tool

Re: XEurope compatibility

I can't follow... the active mesh must be only our mesh. If you want ortho4xp , you use the tool and you place the generated photopolys, above mesh. About overlays over the rest tile (not over our scenery area) , you can use what its inside our mesh as overlay information, or, you can use xEurope, i...

Re: XEurope compatibility

as I said.. the photoreal has nothing to do. Its order is above the mesh. If you use ortho4xp->photopolys, they should take the same place. The original photoreal must be disabled. Don't try to do something with our mesh. Its generated with special tools, including submeter elevation( that's why this...

Re: XEurope compatibility

you should not use the words "before","after" because this refers to left, right. In scenery_packs.ini, we are dealing with below and above.
So I don't understand the folder's order.

Re: XEurope compatibility

Not the full truth.. exactly. Follow the instructions of my first post. I suggest first, to deactivate xEurope for a while, to see how the scenery actually and normally looks.

Re: XEurope compatibility

Of course there is custom traffic, facade buildings with the exact ortho footprints, trees (with the exact place for each tree on the ortho), custom lights. All this in the Heraklion's overlays folder. Its not present I believe in the screenshot ;)

Re: XEurope compatibility

As you say, the ortho is missing in this photo. But, yes... there are no layered - textured roads over our scenery. Its a matter of taste. We don't like layered roads over an ortho, specially over non flattened areas or when there are a lot of turns, where its very difficult to follow exactly the ort...
