Good job figuring it out. I wonder if the others had the same issue.

Hello George,

same with me. Since v4.2 missing the beautiful ground texture. Can not isolate the cause.
Count on the the update this year...hopefully coming soon.

Exactly the same problem for me in P3d4.3, FTX Global + OpenLC + Vector.

In FTX_VECTOR_APT I had disabled before my first flight to Athens the file ABP_LGAV.blg by renaming it to .OFF in order to avoid possible conflicts, but this was wrong. After reactivation of this file the problem disappeared. All OK now.

Just to let you know.
