Post by gsumner » Sun Apr 12, 2020 7:04 am

All the CPH jetways are black, if you just mean the color. Perhaps a shot could help understand better the issue.

Im not sure how you can say all jetways are black.
Ive looked on googlemaps and on the youtube previews and they are all very much grey.

Mine however are black

Any ideas what might be wrong

Well yeah let's say more dark grey. Should look like the attached shot. I see lots of your PBR textures appearing almost pitch black.

some quick checks: latest p3d version? any shader enhancements? tried changing dyn.reflections slider to see if it changes?

whats the official way to remove version 2 to re install

Deleting the folder doesn't work. I now have two jetways everywhere and a configurator that crashes when I try to switch between sode and ctrl j jetways.

Oh and the jetways are still black . . . both of the :-(

Winthin your P3D\FlyTampa folder, can you see any 'Copenhagen' folders? ie 'Copehagen' or 'FlyTampa-Copenhagen' ? If so, delete.
Next, delete the following

C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml\FlyTampa_EKCH_*** (all files)
C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects\FlyTampa_EKCH (folder)

Run P3D to make sure you only see the stock default airport.

so I've stripped everything back to clean at Copenhagen. Re installed, observed raw with shader folders deleted and again with rex environment. Theres no difference between the two. They are not grey like yours are above.

I can see the colour at certain angles is not black so there is some colour there. I have to say though they are disappointingly waaaay too dark compared to the real thing.

Is there anyway I can change them. Version 1 colours where more true.

Yes, SODE and VDGS. All other of my 50 payware airports are working!

I can switch to standard jetways, that works. But back to sode jetways -> no jetways at all.

Folders and files are all there under "C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\"

I use P3D v4.5

Prehaps try a reinstall. Sounds like some files are missing.

You can try this set. Because of the type of material, i am not sure if this will look worse or better in your system. Seems like something is off in the way it handles PBR materials.

The folder where these go to is C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects\Flytampa_EKCH\texture
They are named with *.bright extension. To become active they need to be renamed to *.dds
The folder already has identical named files in it, so you need make a backup of the originals and drop the new ones in (renamed to *.dds)

Thankyou that is a step in the right direction, they look a little lighter. Sorry to moan but it spoils an amazing piece of scenery you have created especially at night.

A reinstall did it. Great job, everything looks very nice...
