Dillon: Perhaps delete the Fly-Miami /scenery/ folder completely. Then reinstall whatever original Miami you have and then update directly to 1.6 (Doesn't matter if you update from 1.0-1.2). I don't know if this will help but the 1.6 update does add, replace and also deletes a number of files from previous versions... perhaps one of them didn't get deleted or so.

Non Standard Install
Martin
I have a non-standard installation path for my FS9. I'm not sure which version of FlyTampa Miami I have but I would assume it's the original.
I tried to install the v1.6 update and I have no idea where the files are going? The auto-installer gives me no manual option to install in the proper place and after the installer 'does it's thing' I go back into the Miami scenery and nothing has changed.
Any suggestions?

The update will install in the path where you originally installed Miami, regardles if you moved the files around afterwards.
You can do a Windows-search for a file called:
conc_9.bgl
Whereever you find this, thats where the update went. If you don't find it anywhere the update didn't run properly, in which case however it should have given you a message like "can't find previous installation of Miami".
If you find the update files (conc_9.bgl etc) copying them over isn't the best solution since the update program does more then that and also deletes files etc. Best is to install whatever original version you have (1.2 or so) and then run the update again.

Tk U for ur assistance.
I've 'tracked' down the original folder - don't ask
- and the update looks to have installed properly. At least it resembles the MIA I spend a good portion of my younger life flying in and out of. Tks for all ur assistance and keep up the splendid work.
