Treessssssssssssss

Post by bradley27 » Fri May 07, 2021 4:02 pm

Departed out of YSSY tonight and i hate to criticize i really do, especially when its FlyTampa which is something you rarely need to do but in this instance i have to ask again if there is something that can be done or reworked when it comes to the subject of clusters of trees around Sydney v2.1 in P3Dv4.5.

I have indeed utilized the tree fix for 4.5 but im trying to work out what the that actually fixes as everything still looks the same on reload?

The trees literally glow at night and stand out somewhat during the day. Why is this something that bugs this scenery/sim and not other scenerys of FT or other developers for 4.5?

Can there be a rework of trees used from another scenery? It just ruins that whole immersion having them appear the way they do at present.

v4.5 is an outstandingly stable sim and is one i really want to stick with for now, FS2020 has proved to be something far from ready and i dont really want to fork out and rebuild P3D via v5.

They look like they have the day texture loading instead of the night texture.

They behave fine in V5.1 and later.
Unfortunately I don't have p3d4.5 or the SDK installed anymore.

You could just delete the tree bgl files or change their shader in a took like MDX.

I might actually try seeing how it looks without the BGLs then...

Im counting 10 in the YSSY scenery folder...that sound about right?
