Wish you could supply just the update file as having to reinstall the full products takes long...

Do we just install over previous version?
Yes- no need to remove anything prior to installing v1.1
Since my first installation included a moving of the entire Las Vegas folder to its final location outside the P3D root, will the update find the user location or it also have to be manually moved to its desired location outside the sim?.
Regards, and thanks for the update.

Could someone at FlyTampa take his valuable time to clarify this to me?.
Thanks in advance!.

safest way would be to first delete the whole LasVegas folder currently in your preferred location. When you run the installer again with v1.1 update, repeat the process of moving the folder out of P3D and into your preferred location

It would be so nice to be able to select our "prefered location". LM asks to install stuff, including sceneries, outside P3D directory.
Is it so difficult to offer the choice of FT installation folder?

Emilios, after installation of 1.0 I installed the initial mesh hotfix and airport was ok. After update with 1.1 I have again that the runways are below ground level. I tried to deinstall, changed ORBX files as explained in other threads and used the Vector tool, but I still see the ‘dikes’ on the runways and lights in the sky.......Are you making a 1.2 update? How can I fix this for this beautiful Airfield? I do have ORBX Vector, NA-SCA and fsglobal. Thanks for your help.

Have you moved the installation to a different location perhaps? is the scenery present correctly in your scenery library? All the hotfixes were added in the v1.1 so there is nothing different in terms of mesh/terrain

Emilio,

Have you moved the installation to a different location perhaps? NO DEFAULT FLYTAMPA FOLDER IN P3DV4; is the scenery present correctly in your scenery library? YES BUT I CANNOT EDIT (TICK IN GREY CANNOT USE EDIT BUTTON) All the hotfixes were added in the v1.1 so there is nothing different in terms of mesh/terrain (FIX PRIOR TO V1.1 DID WORK FINE.....)
I HAVE NO CLUE - DID REINSTALL AGAIN, BUT AGAIN WRONG AIRPORT ELEVATION INCL FLYING LIGHTS.

Default FlyTampa folder is:
Drive:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\FlyTampa. You can edit by using Lorby-SI AddonOrganizer_P3D_V4
Please, don't use capital letters ...

Thanks. Finally solved the elevation issue: make sure AEC in the vector tool is disabled! That simple..... ;-). I had expected that the 1.1 update would deal with ORBX...... Glad it now works :-)

FTX elevation issues are common with any airport add-on, and need to be dealt with by the end-user only (or ORBX) . we cannot fix ORBX files with our update, as we dont touch any other files except our own

Emilios, are we going to have v1.2 update sometime later or a new announcement for a new version available for Las Vegas?

OK I feel a little dumb here.
I have 3 questions regarding KLAS
1. Where is the download link to V1.1?
2. If I download that, I see there is a hotfix for 1.1 - do I need that also?
3. I don't have FTX, so do I need to download the alternate terrain?

If yes to 1, 2, and 3, what order do I do them? and where are these download links?

1. There is no specific v1.1 installer. You only need to download the universal installer from here https://www.flytampa.org/downloads.html and use your LasVegas serial number. The installer will the install v1.1 for you.

2. the hotfix is optional and can be done after installation is finished.

3. First I would suggest to run it and have a look. If you think the terrain needs some better color-matching then download the alternative terrain offered.
