Problem with ortho4xp conversion

Post by S3rg1o » Sun Jul 26, 2020 5:08 am

Hi!
New guy here!
First things, first: Congrats on this piece-of-art, scenery add-on, FlyTampa Las Vegas for X-Plane, It’s amazing all the detail you guys put on it!

I’m trying to convert Forkboy2’s Nevada 2017 orthos, grabbed here: forums dot x-plane dot org/index.php?/files/file/36327-us-orthophotos/ to be used with FlyTampa Las Vegas for XP. (replace "dot" with "." and remove spaces, to get the working link) .

On the “Earth nav data” inside the z_orthos_Nevada_2017 folder, there are two folders:

+30-120
+40-120

Following FlyTampa_Ortho4xp_conversion_tool v1.14, instructions closely, when I run it I get this:

FlyTampa Ortho4XP conversion tool
detecting earth tile..
+40-115 detected..
+40-116 detected..
+40-117 detected..
+40-118 detected..
+40-119 detected..
+40-120 detected..
+41-115 detected..
+41-116 detected..
+41-117 detected..
+41-118 detected..
+41-119 detected..
+41-120 detected..
It seems like you are trying to convert a non FlyTampa tile

You may close this window
or press enter to continue without an alpha mask..

I chose to continued, to see what the results, and in the end I got this:

(after copying process)

*4. Open scenery_packs.ini file, located inside your custom scenery folder and move 'Photopolys4FlyTampa_+41-120' right above the FlyTampa zMesh folder
*5. Save scenery_pack.ini file, and run XPlane.

I noticed it didn’t detect the dsf files inside the “+30-120” folder, so I moved the folder “+40-120”, to desktop, temporarely, and run the conversion tool again, getting this:

FlyTampa Ortho4XP conversion tool

So, if I understood correctly, the tool didn’t detect both, “+30-120” and “+40-120” folders, it only detects one folder no matter witch one.
According to the tool’s manual, Las Vegas tile is +36+116, and it is detected on my second attempt, but it isn’t detected as a FlyTampa tile, and I don’t have any clue why that happens.
In the end, the converted folders, on both attempts, “Photopolys4FlyTampa_...” have nothing to do with the Las Vegas tile, +36-116.
Is there some sort of incompatibilty?
Please help

Thank you.

It's Ortho4XP, but with a different name.
