Runway update?
Hi. Is there an update for X-Plane 11 coming any time soon, to include Rwy 10/28, which I believe has been in operation for a 2-3 years now (?). It's shown as under construction in the FT scenery of course. Thanks

Re: Runway update?
Hi. Well, the 'near future' came, and is now long gone :-). I guess updating this XP11 scenery to include the active runway 10/28 active isn't going to happen in any future, near or distant :-(Very unlikely to happen in the near future
If not, maybe FT could give instructions on how to remove the airport (which files exactly to disable?) without removing the nice city scenery - people could then replace the airport itself with the current two-runway version.
Thanks.

Re: Runway update?
You could try removing the folder '****_0_airport' and try it out-however i cannot be sure of the resulting issues that may occur with mesh/terrain etc.

Re: Runway update?
Yes, that's a straight-forward 'solution' :-) The main issue (for me) is that any other airport doesn't blend in with the city scenery (and the sea).. looks odd. Also of course, you lose the greater detail and sophistication of the FT airport buildings.
Such a shame the FT scenery cannot be updated just to include the second runway - it surely cannot be a huge task? Just turn the 'building site' look at rwy 10 into the finished article?

Re: Runway update?
It is actually a huge task, if one wants to maintain the quality of the product.
Unfortunately, there is no plan to produce further updates of our XPlane products (except the necessary support issues).
